Ali Yavar Jung National Institute For The Hearing Handicapped (AYJNIIH) conducts RCI approved professional courses in the filed of Audiology, Speech Pathology and Special Education (Hearing Impaired) at under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral level, provides clinical rehabilitation services and is engaged in research and developmental activities. The Institute invites applications from eligible candidates having recognized qualification and exdperience to work on regular basis in the following positions at Mumbai (H.Q.) and Secunderabad Regional Centre.

• Dy. Director (Tech.): 01 Post UR
  
• Pay: Rs. 12000-375-16500
• Age: 45 years as on 01.11.07 (Relaxable)
• Qualification:
  
• M.Sc. Degree in Speech & Hearing.
• 10 years Experience in a recognized teaching Institute.
• Desirable:
  
• A Doctorate in Speech & Hearing/ Special Education.
• Atleast 10 years experience in Administration of the Institute concerned with education and rehabilitation of hearing handicapped.
  
• Reader (Audiology & Speech Pathology): 01 Post UR
• Pay: Rs. 10000-325-15200
• Age: 45 years as on 01.11.07
• Qualification:
  
• M.Sc. or equivalent Post Graduate in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.
• 5 years experience as Lecturer in the speciality.
• Desirable: Doctorate qualification in the speciality.
  
• Lecturer (Speech & Hearing): 01 Post ST
• Pay: Rs. 8000-275-13500
• Age: 35 years
• Qualification:
  
• M.Sc. or equivalent Post Graduate Degree in Speech & Hearing with 2 years experience in the Speciality.
• B.Sc. or equivalent Degree in Speech & Hearing with 7 years experience in the speciality.
• Desirable: Doctorate qualification in the speciality.
• NOTE:
• Age relaxation for internal candidates in respect of Post Reader (Audiology & Speech Pathology) & Lecturer (Speech & Hearing) will be as per Govt. of India rules.
• Upper Age limit for the post of Deputy Director (Technical) will be relaxed for otherwise eligible applicants as approved by the Executive Council of the AYJNIHH.
• Selected candidates should be prepared to work in any of the centres as per the Institute's requirement. The post of Reader may be filled either at Southern Regional Centre, Secunderabad, or any other Centre as per administrative need. Post at Sr. No. 3 is being filled for TCTD Bhubaneswar.
• Applicants should indicate their RCI registration number in their Bio-Data.
