  • Dental Surgeon (Ex.cadre), Group-A Gazetted under the Health & Family Welfare Department. : 24(twenty four) (ST-8 and SC-4) tmp.
    • Pay Rs. 7,800-15,100/- plus admissible allowances.
    • QUALIFICATION :- Essential :-
      • A recognized Dental Qualification included in Part-I & III of the scheduled of the Dentist Act. 1948 as appended to this schedule.
    • PREFERABLE :-

    • Pay Rs. 7450-225-11500-250-13,000/- plus admissible allwances.
    • QUALIFICATION :- Degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized University
    • AGE :- Up to 37 years as on 01.08.2007 . Upper age is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates.
  • Statistical Officer/Research Officer, Group-B Gazetted under the Statistical Department.: 1(one) pmt. Post
    • Pay of Rs. 6500-12,300/- plus admissible allowances.
    • QUALIFICATION :-
      • Master Degree or Honours Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Sociology or Economics of an Indian University or equivalent Foreign qualification,
      • Experience in Statistical work for at least one year.
      • Qualification relaxable at the Commissions discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
    • AGE :- Up to 37 years as on 01.08.2007. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of ST/SC/PH candidates and Government Servants.
  • Inspect or, Weights & Measures (SC-3 & ST-1), Group-C Non-Gazetted in the Weights & Measures Organization under the Revenue Department. : 5(five) (1 pmt. & 4 tmp. ) posts
    • Pay of Rs. 5,000-130-6,690-150-8,940-170-10,300/- plus admissible allowances.
    • QUALIFICATION :-
      • Graduate of a recognized University in Science (with) Physics as one of the subjects or Technology or Engineering or holds a recognized Diploma in Engineering.
      • Able to speak, read and write at least one of the regional languages of the State, Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-Borok is essential.
    • AGE :- 18 to 37 years as on 01.08.2007. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of ST/SC/PH. candidates and Government Servants.

Applications (on-line on the website of Chandigarh Police chandigarhpolice.nic.in) are invited from the candidates to fill up below mentioned 270 temporary posts of Constable (male/female) in Chandigarh Police in the pay scale of Rs.3120-5160 (with initial start of Rs.3330) with usual allowances as admissible from time to time, under the rules:-
  • Male : 202 Posts (UR 089 / SC 031/ OBC 055/ Exm 027)
  • Female: 68 Posts (UR 040/ SC 010/ OBC 018)
