• Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent/ The candidate will be given one dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 wpm speed for 10 minutes.
• S.S. Grade- 1: 02 Posts (UR 01/ PH (OH) 01)

General Instructions:

• Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/ Ex. Serviceman/ Physically Handicapped as per rules.
  
• No upper age limit will be applicable for serving ICAR employees.
  
• The institute will have right to fix criteria for screening the applications so as to reduce the number of candidates to be called for interview.
• Only the candidates who apply for the posts of Subject Matter, Specialist have to pay Rs. 50/- in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in the name of Director, ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna, Payable at Patna. Candidates of SC/ST/ PH categories fully exempted from paying application fee.
• All posts carry usual allowances, selected candidate will be under "Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" as per Central Government Rules mustandis-mustandis applicable in ICAR from time to time. The posts are non-government.
• Original certificates and mark sheet should not be submitted along with the application but should be brought if and when called for selection process. Attested copies of certificate regarding age, educational qualifications, experience and casts etc, however should be submitted along with the applications.
• A pass port size photograph must be enclosed with the application.
• When called for interview/ skill test, the candidates will have to appear before a selection committee at a place and dates(s) to be notified in due course.
