UPSC invites application for the various Following posts in various ministries in Government of India

• Senior Scientific officer Grade-II (military Explosives): 1 Pos (OBC) in the Directorate General of Qualifity Assurance of defence production, defence quality assurance service in defence ministry.
• Pay : Rs. 8000-13500
• Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry or B.E./ B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering form a recognized University or its equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE : Two years practical experience in Production/Development/Quality Assurance in the relevant field.
• DESIRABLE : Knowledge of German, French, Russian Japanese or Chinese language.
• Age : 38 years as on 15.03.2007

• Indian Information Service Senior Grade: 5 Posts, one post each is reserved for ST & OBC candidates. The above vacancies(5 in all) are to be filled up language wise as follows :- 1 post each for Manipuri, Assamese, Bengali, Urdu & Telgu Language. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped [Hearing Impairment(i.e. Partially deaf ) OR Locomotor Disability OR Cerebral Palsy (i.e. one leg affected or one arm affected)] persons belonging to any community of candidates

• QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : EDUCATIONAL : i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Diploma in journalism from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE : Three years experience of journalistic, publicity or publication work in a Government department or any Newspaper/News agency

• Deputy Director (Medical): 1 Post. In the directorate general factory advice service and labour institute in abour and employment ministry.
• Pay Rs. 10000-15200
• Qualificatin: a recognized Medical qualification form
• DESIRABLE : Post-graduate Degree or Diploma in Social and Preventive Medicine or Industrial Hygiene or Physiological Medicine or Occupational Health from a recognised University or equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE : Five years’ Professional experience including three years’ experience in the field of Occupational Health preferably in factories or mines.
  
• Age : 40 years as on 15.03.2007

• Assistant Administrative Officers: 3 Posts in the Indian Bureau of mines in mines ministry.
• Pay: Rs. 6500-10500.Qualificaiton: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE : Two years’ experience of administration, accounts and establishment work
• Age : 30 years as on 15.03.2007

• Scientist:- 1 Post in Department of Environment, Forests & Wildlife in Govt of NCT of Delhi.
• Pay Scale: Rs. 6500-10500
• Qualification: master’s degree in environment engineering of a recognized university or equivalent.
• DESIRABLE : Experience in teaching or research, planning, design, execution of projects relating to environment.
  
• Age : 30 years as on 15.03.2007

• Special advertisement no. 51/07 invites applications for the following posts
• General duty Medical officer (GDMO) : 81 posts in health department, government of Pondicherry. Out of 81 posts, 07 posts, are reserved for SC candidates, 11 posts are reserved for ST candidates and 58 posts are reserved for OBC candidates.
• DESIRABLE : Knowledge of local language/dialects prevalent in the area i.e. Tamil, Malayalam or Telgu will be an advantage to the candidates applying for the post.
• There are separate forms for advt. no. 04/07 and spl. Advt. no. 51/07 this is advised to use specific application forms for the above mentioned posts.
