Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on 14.06.09 a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Section Officer (Commercial Audit), a Group 'B' Non-Gazetted post in the office of Comptroller and Audit General in the pay scale of PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4800) (Pre-revised Rs. 6500-10500) all over the country.

• Vacancies:
  
• 240 (i.e. UR 122/ SC 36/ ST 18/ OBC 64) out of these 240 posts 04 are reserved for OH and 03 are reserved for HH. These vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease, without notice.
• Age Limit:
  
• Not exceeding 18-27 years as on 09.04.09 (relaxable up to 05 years for Central Govt. Employees who have rendered not less than 03 years continuous service as such on regular basis as on 09.04.09) Usual age relaxation will be admissible to SC, ST, OBC etc as per Government Orders in force.
• Essential Educational Qualification:
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from a recognized university or Chartered Accountancy or Institute of Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA) or Company Secretaryship (CS) from recognized institutes/ organization as on 09.04.09.
• Last Date: 09.04.09 (17.04.09 for candidates from far-flung areas)
