- Pay Scale & Scale Code: Rs. 4170-3%-6095/- Scale code (S-3)
- Age: As on 01.07.2008 minimum 21 years & maximum 35 years. [after allowing age relaxation as per Government Directives]
- Eligibility Essential Qualification –: HSC (10th) pass along with valid Mining Mate certificate (restricted to Open Cast Mines)
- Fire Station Officer: 01 (One) [Reserved for ST]
- Pay Scale & Scale Code: Rs. 4800 – 3% – 7551/- Scale code (S-6)
- Age: As on 01.07.2008, minimum 18 years & maximum 33 years [after allowing

- Graduate from a recognized institution or university with minimum 50% marks.
- Should have passed Sub-Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
