Central Police Organizations Examination: 2008 For Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors
F.No. 3/8/2008-P&P. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on 09.11.08 an open competitive Examination for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Organizations in the pay scale of Rs. 5500-9000 all over the country.
- Sub-Inspectors: 858 Posts
- Border Security Force (BSF) : Post Code A, 404 posts
- Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) : Post Code B, 270 posts
- Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) : Post Code C, 64 posts
- Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) : Post Code D, 97 posts
- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) : Post Code E, 23 posts
- Pay: Rs. 5500-9000
- Age (as on 04.07.08): 20-25 years Relaxable as per rules
- Qualification: Graduation (Bachelor's Degree) in any stream from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Fee: Rs. 100/- No fee for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen.
- Last Date: 04.07.08 (11.07.08 for candidates from far_flung areas)
