The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Engineering Services Examination, 2008 commencing from 7th June, 2008. The Examination will be held at various centres across the country.

• Conditions of Eligibility
• Age Limit: Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years on 1st August, 2008. The upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the notice.
  
• Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Provided that a candidate applying for the posts of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Engineer Group 'A' in wireless planning & coordination wing/ monitoring organization may possess M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with wireless communication, electronics, radio physics or radio engineering as a special subject.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to engineering services examination, 2008 as per Regulations given in Appendix-II of Rules for Examination published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 12th January 2008.
