Recruitment of Stewards, Cooks and Topasses (Safaiwala) Sailors, for Batch 02/2008, will be conducted during April 2008 by the Indian Navy.

Eligibility Conditions and Primary Job Requirements are as follows:-

• Cooks (MR): They should be Matric qualified. They shall be required to prepare food as per menu and accounting of ration In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.
• Stewards (MR): They should be Matric qualified. They shall be required to serve food in the officers messes, as walters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.
• Topasses (NMR): They should be VI standard qualified and will work as safaiwalas including cleaning of tollets, in addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.
• Age: 17 to 21 years as on 01 OCt 2008 (born between 01 Oct 1987 and 30 Sep. 1991, both dates inclusive)
