F.No. 3/07/2007-P&P. Staff Selection Commission will hold on Sunday, the 27th April, 2008, an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineers (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD Exam., 2008 in the pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000 all over country.

• Number of Vacancies: The vacancies will be determined in due course.
• Age Limits (As on 18.01.2008): 18-27 years Usual age relaxation will be admissible to SC, ST, OBC, PH ExS, etc.
  
• Educational Qualification (As on 18.01.08): Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering form an Institute recognized by the Central Government or equivalent qualification.
• Fee: Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred Only). No Fee for SC, ST, PH and ExS.
• Closing Date: The last date for receipt of application in the concerned Regional Office/ Sub-Regional Office of the Commission will be 18.01.08 (25.01.08 for candidates from far-flung areas)
