NMRL is a recognized centre by University if Mumbai for carrying out Ph.D. work in the fields of Chemistry and Marine Biology. Following Research Fellowships are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules). The monthly stipend and to work areas against each category, are mentioned below.
Candidates possessing the above educational qualification and are having maximum of 28 years of age for JRF as on the date of interview (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates) are invited to appear for Walk-in-interview scheduled at Naval Materials research Laboratory (NMRL), Shil Badalpur Road, Ambernath, Dist. Thane 421 506 at 10.30 hrs. on 30 and 31st Oct. 2007 in the fields of Chemistry and Marine Biology.
Written examination will be followed by interview. Sleeper Class railway fare based on the production of tickets for journey undertaken by shortest trains/ bus route will be paid to candidates who qualify for interview. In case the selection process in extended, the candidates will have to make their own arrangement for stay.
Candidates will be required to produce certificates/ testimonials in original at the time of Interview. Candidates working in Govt. /Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Bodies should bring with them No. Objection Certificate form the concerned authorities. Those having qualified UGC/ CSIR/ NET/ GATE examination shall be given preference.
