The ministry of Urban Housing and Poverty Alleviation, Government of India has under taken the project "National Strategy for Urban Poverty" funded by UNDP for Jaipur City. The objective of this project is to understand various factes of urban poverty and to come up with viable, practical and equitable pro-poor strategy with regard to various aspects of urban poverty.
