Become a Junior Commissioned Officer in the Army as Religious Teacher





Applications are invited from candidates for recruitment of Religious Teachers in the Army as Junior Commissioned Officer for RRT 56 and RRT 57 course.

• Eligibility:
• Age: for RRT 56 must not be below 27 or over 34 years as on 12 may 2008. For RRT 57 course must not be below 27 or over 34 years as on 30 Jun 2008
• Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for appointment will be graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. In addition they must also possess one of the following qualifications according to the religious denomination of the individuals:
• Pandit: Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standard in the regional language concerned. Those who have passed BA with Sanskrit/ Hindi as one of the elective (main) subjects but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi are also eligible.
• Maulvi: Maulvi Alim in Arabic, Adib in Urdu or equivalent standard in the regional language concerned or those who have passed BA with Arabic/ Urdu as one the of elective (Main) subjects, but have not done Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib Alim Urdu are also eligible.
• Padre: Any person who has been ordained as priest by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and is still on the approved lit of the local Bishop.
