Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust invites applications for the following posts:

- Qualification: 1ST Class MOT Engineers (Diesel)
- Pilot: 01 Post OBC

- Qualification:
- Certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ships issued by Ministry of Shipping or an equivalent certificate.
- 1 year experience as Chief Officer of Foreign going Ships.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.
- Assistant Manager (Marketing): 01 Post OBC
- Pay: Rs. 10750-300-16750 + D.A. + other allowances as applicable.
- Age: 30 years max as on 01.08.07
- Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Public Relations or Marketing Management.
- 5 years post qualification executive experience in large organization in Public Relations, publicity and promotion.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi.
- Desirable: Exposure to computerized office working environment.
- Jr. Engineer (PP &D): 01 Post Reserved for Person with Disabilities (PWD) suffering from not less than 40% Low Vision/ Hearing Impairment.
- Pay: Rs. 5500-200-6100-220-11380 + D.A. + other allowances as applicable.
- Age: years max as on 01.08.07
- Qualification:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a Board/ Institute recognized by Govt. of India.
- 3 years post qualification experience in Civil construction/ maintenance.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of Hindi & Marathi.
- Last Date: 20.10.07
Age limit is relaxable for SCs/ STs by 5 years for OBCs by 3 years and additional 5 years for Persons with Disabilities. Age limit and qualification are further relaxable at the discretion of the Chairman, JNPT in case of deserving candidates. Selected candidates will be eligible for Residential accommodation, Leave, Medical facility etc. They will be governed by the new pension scheme. Persons working in Govt. or Govt. controlled organizations shall apply through proper channel . JNP-PAP candidates will be given preference.
