NIT Jamshedpur invites applications from Indian nationals, possessing excellent academic background and requisite experience with commitment to quality work on contractual basis with consolidated emoluments in the range Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month for the posts herein after. The contract shall be initially for a period of 1 year but can be extended at the discretion of appointing authority upto 3 years.

• Finance Officer / Procurement Officer
• Qualification: A postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks with ICWA / CA or MBA (for Finance Officer) or degree in Materials Management (for Procurement Officer) with at least 8 year’s experience in relevant area in a reputed organization. Good knowledge in use of Information Technology is required.
• Establishment Officer
  
• Qualification: A Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks with 8 years experience in Personnel Management, Human Resource Development with experience in legal work. Good knowledge in use of Information Technology is required.
• Security Officer
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 year’s experience in the capacity of major or equivalent rank in defense / police organizations should be well versed in Security rules and procedure to communicate with general public and police.
• Engineer (Civil / Electrical)
• Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical / Civil Engineering with 6 year’s experience in reputed organization as Engineer in PWD / CPWD / Railways / Defense organizations. Experience required: For Engineer (Electrical): High tension and low-tension lines, Electrical maintenance and planning. For Engineer (Civil): Designing and estimation, Construction Management, Civil Maintenance
• System Operator / Networking Manager
• Qualification: 1^st Class M. Tech Degree in Computer Science / Electronics with very good academic record throughout and at least 6 year’s industrial / research experience in job related area.
• System Analyst
• Qualification:1^st Class M. Tech Degree in Computer Science / Electronics with 6 year’s experience or M. Sc. / B. Tech (1^st Class) in Compute Science with 7 year’s experience. The experience must be in programming related to system software development, application software and software projects
