It is propsed to fill up the undermentioned temporary position of Research Associate, Senior Research Fellows and Electrician under the different projects as per details given below at this Bureau through walk-in-interview scheduled to be held on 13.08.2007 and 14.08.2007 at 10.00 am to 1.00 pm accordingly, the eligible and desirous candidate fulfilling all the requirements should appear before the selection committee for personal Interview at NBPGR, Pusa Campus, New Delhi as indicated below:

• Name of the Project (CODE): TMC-MM-1 Development of farmer friendly disgnostic kits for transgenic event seed purity (028-TMCMMI-DFC-RKK-07): 01 Post RA
  
• Pay: Rs. 11500+HRA for M.Sc. & Rs. 12000+ HRA for Ph.D.
  
• Essential Qualification: M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences.
• Desirable qualifications: Experience in use of Biochemical / Serological technique such as protein purification, cloning ELISA, lateral flow strips etc.
• Name of the Project (CODE): Development of STMS and SCAR Markers in bittergourd and their utilization for genetic characterization and tagging of gynoecious trail (025-DBT-DFC-ABG-07) : 01 Post SRF
• Pay: Rs. 8000+HRA
• Qualification: M.Sc. in Plant Genetic Resources/ Molecular biology and Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Biochemistry/ microbiology/ botany form a reputed university with a minimum of first class marks.
• Desirable qualifications: Experience of more than one year in use of PCR based molecular marker techniques for genetic characterization and fingerprinting cloning and other basic molecular biology techniques.
• Name of the Project (CODE): Preparation of digitized keys for quick and reliable indentification of insect pests of Family Bruchidae of quarantine significance. (029-DAC-PQD-KG-07): 01 Post SRF
  
• Pay: Rs. 8000+HRA
• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Agricultural Entomology/ Entomology/ Zoology with specialization in Entomology.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience in insect taxonomy/ biosystematics, development of keys. etc.

• Name of the Project (CODE): Molecular characterization of cotton germplasm: 02 Posts RA
• Pay: Rs. 11500+HRA for M.Sc. and Rs. 12000+HRA for Ph.D.
• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology/ Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Genetic Resources/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Botany.
• Desirable Qualification: Practical experience on molecular markers for DNA fingerprinting and deversity analysis.
• Name of the Project (CODE): Implementation of Legislation on Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Rights. (024-DAC-GCD-AKS-07): 01 Post SRF
• Pay: Rs. 8000+HRA
  
• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Botany or Agriculture or Plant Genetic Resources with specialization in seed technology or seed physiology.
• Desirable Qualification: A certificate or Diploma in Computer Applications or work experience in computer application.
• Name of the Project (CODE): Implementation of Legislation on Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Rights. (024-DAC-GCD-AKS-07): Electrician
  
• Pay: Rs. 5000 fixed
• Essential Qualification: An ITI Certificate with specialization in refrigeration form a reputed polytechnic institute.
• Desirable Qualification: Work experience.
