Applications are invited only from candidates professing Hindu Religion, upto 5.45 p.m. on 31-08-2007 for direct recruitment to the vacancies for the year-2005-2006 in the following post included in Group –I-B Service:-

• Assistant Commissioner in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Department: 09 Posts
• SCALE OF PAY:- Rs. 8000-275-13500/-per mensem.
• AGE: As on 1.7.2007
  
• MINIMUM AGE LIMIT – Should have completed 21 years (for all candidates)
  (i.e. should have been born on or before 01.07.86 )
  
• MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT – Should not have completed - 37 years for SCs, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and Destitute Widows of all castes. 32 years for candidates not belonging to any of the above said categories.
• EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification on the date of this Notification viz.01-08-2007.
  
• A degree in Arts, Science or Commerce of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant or B.O.L of Annamalai University or B.B.A. of Madurai Kamaraj University or B.Litt. of the University of Madras or B.B.M. or B.Litt. of Bharathiyar University and A degree of Bachelor of Law (three years course) of any University or Institution recognized by the UGC for the purpose of its grant.
  OR
  
• A degree of Bachelor of Law (Five years integrated Course) of any University orInstitution recognized by the UGC for the purpose of its grant. AND
  
• Must be actually practising as an Advocate or as a Pleader in a Court of Civil or
  Criminal Jurisdiction for a period of not less than three years.
• Last date for receipt of applications 31-08-2007 5.45 P.M.
• Date of Written examination 30-12-2007 F.N. & A.N.
