Applications are invited form Male Indian citizens belonging to Gen, OBC, SC, ST and Ex-service manfor the post of Head Constable (Radio-Operator) and Head Constable (Fitter) in BSF Comn Set-up in the pay scale of Rs. 3200-85-4900 (plus special pay or Rs. 160/- per month for HC/RO only) The post carries, all admissible allowances to central Govt. employees besides rent free accommodation and ration money etc. New pension scheme as per central civil services (extra ordinary pension) amendment rules 2003 will be applicable to the persons selected.

• Head Constable (Radio Operator): 145 Posts
• Qualification: Matric or equivalent plus 2 years ITI certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics OR
• Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & mathematics form a recognized Board or Institution.
  
• Head Constable (Fitter): 21 posts
• Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent form a recognized board or institution, and two years industrial training institute certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic from an Institution recognized by State or Central Government; Or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Age: Not below 18 years and not over 23 years as on 28.07.2007
• Date of Recruitment: 24.09.2007 onwards
• Last Date for submission of application forms 28.07.2007
