Applications are invited from male Indian nationals possessing educational qualifications and age, as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Yantriks, Naviks (General Duty) and Naviks (Domestic Branch) in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

• Yantriks: 25 Posts (UR 13/ OBC 06/ SC 04/ ST 02)
• Qualification: Matriculate with three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engg. Recognized by AICTE
• Age: Born between 01 Jan 1986 and 01 Jan 1990. (Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
• Naviks (GD): 150 Posts (UR 77/ OBC 40/ SC 22/ ST 11)
  
• Qualification: 10+2 with Science Stream (Maths and Physics) from an education board recognized by Central/ State Government.
  
• Age: Born between 01 Jan 1986 and 01 Jan 1990. (Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
• Naviks (DB): 25 Posts (UR 13/ OBC 06/ SC 04/ ST 02)
  
• Qualification: Matriculate
  
• Age: Born between 01 March 1986 and 01 March 1990. (Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
• Last Date of receipt of application is 27.07.2007. In respect of applications received by post form candidates residing in North East regions (Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mozoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikim) and Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep & Kavarathi Islands the last date is 31.07.2007.
