Special Recruitment Drive for backlog vacancies for Persons with Disability(PWD)

• Group ‘C’:-
  
• Draughtsman – 2 posts;
  
• Pharmacist – 2 posts
• Group ‘D’:-
• Operatives in the trade of
  
• Electrician,
  
• Millwright Mechanic,
  
• Carpenter,
  
• Painter,
• Electronic Mechanic,
  
• Fitter and Machinist – 20 posts for appointment On Contract Basis for the Period of two years
• Qualification:
• Must have passed SSC or equivalent examination conducted by a Board recognized by the Government for all trades and
• Must have passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination with 52% marks in the trades of : “Draughtsman / Electrician / Millwright Mechanic / Carpenter / Painter / Electronic Mech. / Fitter & Machinist” conducted by NCVT of the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour , Government of India. c) The preference will be given to ex-MDL contract operatives on fixed term contract basis having relevant experience in the trade.
• For the post of D’man in Group C the candidates must have completed National Apprenticeship Certificate with one year experience in the respective trade.
• For the post of Pharmacist in Group C the candidates must have completed B.pharm /D. pharm with one year experience in a Pharmaceutical Store.
• Desirable: Work experience in the relevant field/area in a Shipbuilding Company/Shipyard certified by their Personnel Department of the Company/Shipyard. For the post of D’man one year prior experience in shipbuilding company.
