This Institute proposes to engage Research Associates/Fellows under its various research projects, as per details given hereunder. The recruitment is subject to the terms & conditions in force in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for such appointments. There is no provision of absorption/re-employment in NIANP/ICAR and the post is co-terminus with the project. The appointment is purely on contract basis and is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.

• Post No. 1: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW: 01 Post

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Microbiology
• Remuneration: Rs. 8,000/- p.m. (fixed) for the first & second year and Rs. 9,000/- for third year. HRA will be paid if accommodation is not provided

• Post No. 2: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW: 01 Post

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Biotechnology
• Remuneration: Rs. 8,000/- p.m. (fixed) for the first & second year and Rs. 9,000/- for third year. HRA will be paid if accommodation is not provided

• Post No. 3: SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

• Essential Qualification: M.V.Sc./M.Sc. (A.H.) in Animal Nutrition or M.V.Sc./M.Sc. in LPM
• Remuneration:
• Veterinary Science Graduates: Rs. 9,500/- pm (fixed) for first & second year; Rs. 10,000 for third year. HRA will be paid, if accommodation is not provided
• Post Graduates other than Vety. Science: Rs. 8000/- pm (fixed) for first & second year. Rs. 9000/- in the third year. HRA will be paid if accommodation is not provided

• Post No. 4A: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (Sr.): 01 Post

• Essential Qualification: Doctorate in Animal Reproduction/ Animal Physiology/ Animal Biochemistry/ Animal Biotechnology
• Remuneration: Rs. 12,000/- p.m. + HRA, if accommodation is not provided

• Post No. 4B: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (Jr.) [To be filled only if suitable Research Associate (Sr) is not selected]: 01 Post
• Essential Qualification: M.V.Sc. in Animal Reproduction/ Animal Physiology/ Animal Biochemistry/ Animal Biotechnology with 60% marks, first division and two years research experience, as evidenced from fellowship/ associateship/ trainingship or published paper in standard journals, in the field of animal cell culture with molecular biological techniques
• Remuneration: Rs. 11,500/- p.m. + HRA, if accommodation is not provided

• Post No. 5: SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW: 01 Post

• Essential Qualification: M.V.Sc./M.Sc. in Animal Reproduction/ Animal Physiology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry
• Remuneration:
• Veterinary Science Graduates: Rs. 9,500/- pm (fixed) for first & second year; Rs. 10,000 for third year. HRA will be paid, if accommodation is not provided

• Post No. 6: SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW: 01 Post

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology
• Remuneration: Rs. 8,000/- per month for first & second year and Rs. 9,000/- for third year + HRA, if accommodation is not provided
• Age limit for candidates in respect of all the posts: Between 21-35 years as on the date of interview (Relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC)
