Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2007
The Union Public Service Commission UPSC will hold and examination on 7th october 2007 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Police Force (CPF) viz. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indoa-Tibetan Border Plice (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The examination will be held at various cetnres across the country.
- Assistant Commandants (Group 'A') : 341 Posts
- Eligibility Conditions:
- Age Limits: Candidates must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 1 August, 2007. The upper age limit is relaxable for Secheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classed and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
- Sex: Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to CRPF and CISF. However only Male candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, ITBP and SSB.
- Application Form:
- The candidates must apply in the Common Application form devised by the commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post Offices throughout the country against cash pyament of Rs. 20/-. Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination. In case of any difficulty in obtaining Application forms the designated HPOs/ POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned Post master or UPSCs "Forms Supply Monitoring Cell" over telephone no. 011-23389366/ fax 011-23387310
- Examination Fee:
- The examination fee will be Rs. 100/- to be paid through Central Recruitment Fee (CRF) Stamp only. SC/ST candidates are exempted form payment of Fees. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fees).
- All applications must reach the "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi 110 069 either by hand or by Post/ Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 04.06.2007
