Applications are invited from male Indian candidates belonging to Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi states for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force for the year 2007 on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-75-3950-80- 4590/- plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Govt. Employees from time to time. In addition Ration allowances, Medical assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave pass etc are admissible to BSF. The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even in abroad. They will be governed under BSF Act & Rules as well as CCS Rules.

• Eligibility:
  
• Age :- Between 18 to 23 years, the cut of date for age will be Ist August 2007. Upper age limit is relaxble by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Education :- Minimum Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.
• How to apply and by which date:
• Application in the prescribed format at Annexure-II and Annexure-III either by type written or neatly hand written on one side only on full size plain paper with pass-port size photographs (duly attested with stamp by Gazetted officer) affixed on application be sent to The Commandant, 25 Bn BSF, Chhawla Camp, New Delhi -71 so as to reach not later than 09.06.2007 (candidates who have already applied for the post in response to advertisement published in “Employment career India” and employment express need not to apply again ) through ordinary post along with all necessary documents etc.
• Postal order for Rs. 50/- payable in favor of – Commandant, 25 Bn BSF and Payable at Post Office – Chhawla, New Delhi – 71 or demand draft for Rs. 50/- in favour of Commandant, 25 Bn BSF and Payable at Branch of SBI Najafgarh A.D.B, Code No. 1419 will be submitted by General and OBC Category candidates as application fee. No application fees applicable to SC, ST category and EX –Service men candidates. Postal orders /Bank drafts issued, other than Commandant 25 Bn BSF and payable at Post Office
  Chhawla/ SBI Najafgarh A.D.B Code NO . 1419, will not be accepted and their applications will be summarily rejected .
