National Atmospheric Research Laboratory [NARL], is a centre of excellence for atmospheric science and research in the emerging and frontline areas of atmospheric physics, provides challenging opportunities to the young scientists and engineers.
APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
- SCIENTIST/ENGINEER-SD: 03
- Pay: Rs.10000-325-15200/- + 2AI* [Total salary Rs.20,250/- p.m approximately at the minimum of the scale of pay] + HRA as applicable
- Essential Qualifications:
- First class M.Sc/ M.E/ M.Tech with Ph.D, in Physics / Atmospheric science / Meteorology/ Atmospheric Physics / RadioScience / Ionospheric physics/ Atmospheric modelling.
- Desirable:
- Exposure & acquaintance in using the data from atmospheric remote sensing instruments such as Radars and Lidars, Satellites, balloons and knowledge on atmospheric instrumentation.
- JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW [JRF]: 04

Fellowship amount: For the 1st & 2nd year Rs.8000/- [Consolidated] P.M & for the subsequent years Rs.9000/- [Consolidated] P.M. respectively + HRA as applicable.
- TENURE : The maximum period of Research Fellowship will be four years. The Research Fellows will be encouraged to register for Ph.D Degrees.

Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc., in Physics / Electronics/ Atmospheric Science with 65% marks or above or M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/ Space Technology with 60% marks or above. Those who have appeared for the final year examinations can also apply. Preference will be given to the candidates, who are qualified in UGC-NET/GATE examinations
- TECHNICIAN-A: 01
- Pay: Rs.3050-75-3950-80-4590/-
- Qualification: Metric/SSC/SSLC+ ITI in Electronics/Electrical
- PROJECT ENGINEER [ on contract basis]: 04 [FOUR] UR
- Pay: Rs.15000/- [Consolidated pay] Per month.
- Tenure:Minimum One year likely to continue till completion of the Project.
- Qualification: First class B.E./ B.Tech., in Electronics & Communications Engineering.
