Applications are invited only from the MALE (Male) candidates belonging to Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh States for the post of Constable (General Duty) in BSF on temporary basis likely to be made permanent, in the pay scale of Rs.3050-75-3950-80-4590 plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Govt. employees from time to time. In addition, ration allowance, medical assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave pass etc. are admissible to BSF. The post has all India liability and selected candidate can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. They will be governed under BSF Act and Rules as well as CCS Rules. Further, the selected candidates will be covered under the new CONTRIBUTORY PENSION scheme as applicable to all central Government employees recruited/appointed on or after 01 Jan’2004.

• RAJASTHAN
• Open vacancies for all Districts of State: Total 192 (GC 96/ SC 33/ ST25/ OBC38 )
• Vacancies reserved for border districts of the State i.e. Sri Ganga Nagar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Barmer: Total 99 (GC 49 / SC 17 /ST 13/ OBC 20)
• MADHYA PRADESH
• Open vacancies for all Districts of State: Total: 205 (GC102/SC 31/ST 41/OBC 31)
• Vacancies reserved for Naxal affected districts of the State i.e. Balaghat, Dindori and
  Mandla: Total: 17 (GC 09/SC 03/ST 03/OBC 02)
• Age : Between 18 to 23 years as on 1ST August’2007. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
• Education : Minimum Matric or equivalent.
• Application in the prescribed format either by type written or neatly hand written only in HINDI or ENGLISH filled-up on one side of foolscap plain paper with recent passport size photographs attested by a GO/School/College Principal/SHO of Police Station, securely pasted (pasted) and not pinned/stapled on application form be sent to INSPECTOR GENERAL, FRONTIER HEADQUARTER, BORDER SECURITY FORCE, MANDORE ROAD, JODHPUR (RAJASTHAN), PIN-342026, so as to reach not later than 20 May’2007 through ordinary post along with all necessary documents
