Applications are invited form the Male candidates belonging to Gujarat nad Maharastra States for the post of Constable (GD) in Border Security Force on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the Pay scale of Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/- plus usual and admissible allowances to Central govt. Employees from time to time. In addition Ration allowance, medical assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave pass etc, are admissible to BSF. The post has All India liability and selected candidate can be posted any where in India and even abroad. They will be governed under BSF Act & Rules as well as CCS Rules.
All selected candidates for the post of Const. (GD) in BSF will be governed by new contributory pension scheme called Central Civil Service (pension) which is applicable to all Central Govt. Employees.

• Reserve for border Distt. of Kuchch, Patan and Banaskantha: 32 Total

• Reserve for Naxalite/ Militancy effected distts (Garhchiroli/ Godia/ Chandrapur/ Bhandara) : 30
• Grand Total: 359
• Age: Between 18-23 years as on 01. June 2007. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years to OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent.

Application in the prescribed format at Annexure- II in Hindi or English filled in on one side fo full scap plian papers with recent passport size photographs attested by a Gazetted officer/ School/ College Principal securely pasted and not pinned/ stappled on application form be sent to Instpector General HQ Gujarat Frontier BSF, Po- GC CRPF, Chiloda Road Gandhinagar (Gujarat) Pin 382042 so as to reach on or before 30.04.2007 through ordinary post alongwith all necessary documents.
