ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT IN ITB POLICE FORCE

Applications are invited for filling up the following Group ‘C’ posts in ITB Police from male Indian citizens. Last date for receipt of application is 29th April 2007 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahul & Spiti Distt. and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba Distt of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 13th May 2007.
  • Constable (Radio Operator): 876 Posts
    • Pay: Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/-
    • Age: 18 to 23 years
    • Qualification:
      • Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or physics and Chemistry).
      • Preference shall be given to those who have certificate of telegraphic or operator from ITI or Ministry of Communication, subject to passing the Aptitude test.
  • Constable (Radio Technician): 174 Posts
    • Pay: Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/-
    • Age: 20 to 25 years
    • Qualification:
      • Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or Physics and Chemistry).
      • Three years Diploma in Radio or Electronics or Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized Institution.
  • Constable (Line Man): 96 Posts
    • Pay: Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/-
    • Age: 18 to 23 years
    • Qualification:
      • Matric or equivalent
      • Diploma/Certificate Course from Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized institution.
  • Venue of Recruitment (for all above): Telecom Battalion ITBPF, Shivpuri (MP)
  • Date of Recruitment (for all above): 28th June 2007

  • Head Constable (Motor Mechanic): 44 Posts
    • Pay: Rs. 3200-85-4900/-
    • Age: 19 to 25 years
    • Qualification:
      • Matric or equivalent
      • Certificate in Motor mechanic from a recognized institution/ ITI with 3 years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or 3 years diploma in automobile engineering.
  • Constable (Motor Mechanic): 48 Posts
    • Pay: Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/-
    • Age: 18 to 25 years
    • Qualification:
      • Matric or equivalent
      • Certificate from a recognized institution/ ITI in Automobile Engineering/Motor Mechanic trade.
  • Constable (Driver): 529 Posts
    • Pay: Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/-
    • Age: 20 to 25 years
    • Qualification:
      • Matric or equivalent
      • Valid driving License for Light/Medium/Heavy vehicles with minimum 2 years experience in driving.
  • Venue of Recruitment (for all above): Transport Battalion ITBPF, Chandigarh (UT)
  • Date of Recruitment (for all above): 28th June 2007

All candidates belonging to General & OBC category should furnish a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of Deputy Inspector General, SHQ (L&C), ITB Police, Chandigarh (UT) alongwith their application. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee.
