Applications are invited from Indian Citizens having professional qualification in Insurance/ Actuarial Science for recruitment to the post of Assistant Administrative Officer in Life Insurance Corporation of India:

  • Assistant Administrative Officer:
    • Total no. of vacancies: 200 [SC-30/ ST-15/ OBC- 54 GEN-101]
    • Age: (As on 1st March, 2007 Minimum 21 years (completed) Maximum 30 years.
    • Educational Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian or Foreign University.
    • Professional Qualification:
      • Fellow or Associate of the Insurance Institute of India under Life Branch OR Pass in 5 or more papers from the Examinations conducted by the Institute of Actuaries, London or the Actuarial Society of India.
      • Minimum 5 years experience of
        working in life insurance industry
        in India.
    • Emoluments and Benefits: B
      • asic pay Rs. 11,110/- per month in the scale of Rs.11,110 - 540(14) – 18670 – 560(4) – 20,910 and
      • other admissible allowances as per rules.
      • Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.14,450/- p.m. plus CCA, HRA, wherever admissible as per rules.
      • Other benefits are non contributory PF, Gratuity, Pension, LTC, Medical Benefit, Group Savings Linked Insurance (GSLI), Group Personal Accident Insurance, Vehicle Loan (2 wheeler/4 wheeler) as per rules.
