• Age Limit (As on 01.01.2007):- Minimum : 21 years and Maximum: 30 years
• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in the aggregate and computer science covering M S Word, M S Office, Excel, Access, etc., as one of the subjects at the degree level OR MCA with atleast 60% Marks in the aggregate. OR Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in the aggregate and any one of the following computer qualifications: i. Diploma in Computer Operations from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, MICE, STQC,CMC ii. GNIIT from NIIT iii. DOE ACC Courses/Certification (O,A,B,C Level) In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH, minimum qualifying marks will be 55% in the aggregate, other conditions remaining the same

EXPERIENCE :5 years commissioned service in the Army, Navy, Air Force or a Police Officer not below the rank of ASP/DSP with 5 years service or Officers of identical rank in para military forces with 5 years of service.

• Probationary Clerks : 400 posts (SC-47,ST-50,OBC-116,UR-187)
• Pay Scale: Rs. 4410 –13210
• Approx. total emoluments at the start of the scale inclusive of DA, CCA & HRA at Metropolitan Centres:- Rs. 6050/=
• Age Limit (As on 01.01.2007):- Minimum : 18 years and Maximum: 28 years
• Qualification: A Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in the aggregate and any one of the following computer qualifications: i. Proficiency in Windows/MS Office ii. Certificate/Diploma in Computer Operations from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, STQC. OR BCA with atleast 60% Marks in the aggregate. OR Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in the aggregate and computer science covering M S Word, M S Office, Excel, Access, etc., as one of the subjects. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH, minimum qualifying marks will be 55% in the aggregate, other conditions remaining the same.

• Candidates applying for multiple posts should submit separate application for each post alongwith requisite application fees. Requisite Application Fee shall be sent by Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque/Pay Order favouring "Syndicate Bank Recruitment Project - 2007” payable at ‘Udupi/ Manipal’ only.
• HOW TO APPLY: All eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed Application format given, to reach the prescribed address on or before the last date for receipt of applications. If a candidate is eligible and desires to apply for more than one post, he/she should make separate application for each of the posts which he/she wishes to apply for along with separate application fee for each of the posts. Applications received after the last date will not be considered. Application should be in A - 4 size paper (11.69” X 8.27”) and should be strictly as per the format. Certified copies of the following shall be enclosed to the application:
