Directorate General Central Industrial Security Force

Applications are invited form male, female and ex-servicemen Indian citizens for filling up the following posts in central industrial security force (MHA) in the pay scale mentioned against each. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent in due course. The posts are combatised and selected candidates are liable to be governed by CISF Act and Rules. Selected candidates shall be liable to serve any where in India:-
- Post:- ASI/Steno 22 Posts
- Pay scale:- 4000-100-6000
- Age:- Between 18 to 25 years as on 01-08-07 (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
- Qualification:-
- Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent certificate form recognised board.
- Minimum speed of 80 w.pm. in English or in Hindi Stenography and 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi typewriting.
- Post:- Head Const/ Clerk (Direct) 135 Posts
- Pay scale:- 3200-85-4900
- Age:- Between 18 to 25 years as on 01-08-07 (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
- Qualification:-
- Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent certificate form recognised board.
- Minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi typewriting.
- Post:- Head Const/ Clerk Dept. :-58 Posts
- Pay scale:- 3200-85-4900
- Age:- upto 45 as on 01-08-07 (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
- Qualification:-
- Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent certificate form recognised board.
- Minimum speed 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi typewriting.
- Post:- ASI (Pharmacist) 12 Posts
- Pay scale:- 3200-85-4900
- Age:- Between 20 to 30 years on closing date of receipt of application. (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
- Qualification:-
- Matriculation or equivalent certificate from recognised board.
- Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an Institution of the Central Govt. or State Govt and should be registered as "Pharmacist" under the Pharmacy Act 1948
- Post:- ASI/ Exe(exservicemen) 116 Posts
- Pay Scale:- 4000-100-6000
- Age:- Army Service plus 03 years to be deducted from actual age and resultant age should not exceed 25 years as on 01-08-2007 (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
- Qualification:-
- Matriculation or Army 1st class Certificate of education or equivalent to Navy/Air force. recognised board.
- Medical category on discharge - A (AYE)/ SHAPE-I
- Character on discharge- Exemplary/ Very Good.
- Break in service- Not more than 2 years.
- Head Const/GD Ex-Servicemen:- 164 Posts
- Pay Scale:- 3200-85-4900
- Age:- Army Service plus 03 years to be deducted from actual age and resultant age should not exceed 25 years as on 01-08-2007 (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
- Qualification:-
- Matriculation or Army 1st class Certificate of education or equivalent to Navy/Air force. recognised board.
- Medical category on discharge - A (AYE)/ SHAPE-I
- Character on discharge- Exemplary/ Very Good.
- Break in service- Not more than 3 years.
- Constable/GD (Ex-Servicemen):-1001 Posts
- Pay Scale:- 3200-75-3950-80-4590
- Age:- Army Service plus 03 years to be deducted from actual age and resultant age should not exceed 23 years as on 01-08-2007 (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
- Qualification:-
- Matriculation or Army 1st class Certificate of education or equivalent to Navy/Air force. recognised board.
- Medical category on discharge - A (AYE)/ SHAPE-I
- Character on discharge- Exemplary/ Very Good.
- Break in service- Not more than 3 years.
