Combined matric level (main) examination, 2006

Results of Combined Matric Level (Preliminary) Examination, 2006 conducted by Staff Selection Commission all over the country on 30.07.2006 are now declared (Click here to see the RESULTS). Regional Offices of the Commission will be sending blank prescribed Application Forms to all such candidates who qualify in the Combined Matric Level (Preliminary) Examination, 2006 held on 30.07.2006. Successful candidates will be required to submit the duly filled in applications to the concerned Regional Offices of the Commission within the stipulated Closing date (15.02.2007) for appearing in the combind Matric level (main) Examination, 2006, which would be held on 12&13 May, 2007.

Note:
The detailed provisions regarding the Main Examination and the Scheme of the Main Examination etc. have already been published in the Notice/ Advertisement of the Combined Matric Level(Pre) Examination, 2006 published in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar edition dated 11-17th March, 2006.
The Combined Matric Level (main) Examination, 2006 will be held for recruitment to the following posts:-

1. Grade 'C' Stenographers: posts carrying the pay scale of Rs. 5500-9000 in the various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices (other than in central secretariat stenographers service cadre) mostly located in Delhi/ New Delhi.
2. Grade 'D' Stenographers: Posts carrying the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 in the various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices.
3. Lowe Division Clerks: Carrying the pay scale of Rs. 3050-4590 in the various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices (other than in Central Secretariat Clerical Service Cadre).
