Recruitment of SSC under UES Scheme in Indian Navy

The Indian Navy Invites final years engineering students to join the Indian Navy as Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSC) in technical branches under University Entry Scheme (UES) Course Commencing - Aug 2008




Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical Branches of the Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme. Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirement and performance/willingness of the candidates. On completion of these tenures, officers are entitled for gratuity under the extant rules. Disciplined life, leadership qualities and professional skills imbibed during the service would stand as added advantages in acquiring second career post exit from the Navy.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

  • Age: 19 to 24 years (i.e. born between 02 Aug 1984 to 01 Aug 1989; both dates inclusive)
