Special Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Class-II (Group-B) of Orissa Engineering Service for S.C. and S.T. candidates under Water Resources Department

Applications in the prescribed form (both Short & Long) are invited from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates only for recruitment to 36 (thirty-six) posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Examination Code-12, Post Code-109) in Class-II (Group-B) of Orissa Engineering Service under Water Resources Department in the scale of pay of Rs.6,500-200-10,500 with usual Dearness Allowance as may be sanctioned by the Government of Orissa from time to time. The posts are temporary but likely to be made permanent

  • VACANCY POSITION :
    • Category: Scheduled Tribe:- 21 Posts (6 – Women)
    • Category: Scheduled Caste:- 15 Posts (5 – Women)
      • Total = 36 Posts (11 Women)
  • EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate must
    • hold a Degree in Civil Engineering from an Indian University or a Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Indian Engineering College; or
    • be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers Civil (India), or
    • hold a degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from one of the Universities or Civil Engineering Colleges in the United Kingdom enumerated in the Appendix-I to this advertisement or have passed one of the examinations mentioned therein.
