- Educational Qualification:

Good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or an equivalent Grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Masters Degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a foreign University.

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. The A.P.State should recruit only those candidates who have qualified in NET conducted by the UGC / CSIR or SLET conducted by certain States (accredited by the Commission).

N.B.:1.Candidates who have possessed Ph.D., and M.Phil., are exempted from NET/ SLET qualification.
Relaxation of 5% marks in the subject is available for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PH i.e., 50% marks is enough for the purpose of eligibility.

- Detailed Notification with breakup of vacancies, scale of pay, age, community, Educational qualifications and other instructions along with Application (I.C.R./ O.M.R.) Form will be printed in the Special Bulletin of APPSC Udyoga Samacharam, March 2007 issue. The special bulletin can be obtained as follows:
- Within A.P. State:: At A.P.P.S.C. Office, ‘Prathibha Bhavan’, M.J.Road, Nampally, Hyderabad or from (104) identified Head Post Offices in A.P. on payment of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five only) (List of H.P.Os may be seen in the Commission’s Website: http://appsc.ap.nic.in/
- Outside A.P. State: Applicant should send M.O. for Rs. 60/- (sixty only) in favour of Printer & Publisher, APPSC Udyoga Samacharam, APPSC Office, ‘ Prathibha Bhavan’, M.J.Road, Nampally, Hyderabad-1 to obtain the same by speed post.
- Applicants should obtain the Application (I.C.R./ O.M.R.) Forms are available along with the A.P.P.S.C. Udyoga Samacharam Special Bulletin in the following places.
