Pay Scales:

• Professor (Rs.18,400-500-22,400);
• Associate Professor (Rs. 16,400-450-20,000);
• Assistant Professor (Rs. 12,000-420-18,300)

Qualification:

• Professor : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor.
• Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
• Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least 3 years industrial/research/teaching experience.
