Required following Head of Departments at Government Polytechnic for women, Chandigarh in the scale of Rs. 12000-16350/- on deputation from the regular employees serving with central govts., Haryana & Punjab and their research/ training institutions, universities for a period of one years or till the posts are filled up on regular basis whichever is earlier:
  1. Electronics & Communication Engg.: 01 Post
  2. Architecture Assistantship: 01 Post
  3. Modern Office Practice : 01 Post
  4. Interior Design & Decoration: 01 Post

The qualification, experience and age limit for the posts are as under:
Terms & Conditions:
  • Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent Cadre/ Department OR
  • With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 10000-15200 or equivalent in the parent Cadre/ Department OR
  • With ten years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 8000-13500/ or equivalent in the parent Cadre/ Department
  • Qualification:
    • Sr. No. 1 to 3 Master's degree in relevant branch with first class at Master's or Bachelor's level form a recognized university or equivalent and five years experience in teaching/ research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.
    • Sr. No. 4 First class degree in interior design and decoration of a recognized university/ institute or equivalent OR
      • First class B.A./ B.Sc. from a recognized university or equivalent and first class diploma in interior design & Decoration OR
      • Diploma in interior Design/ Decoration form a recognized university institute or equivalent and eight years experience in teaching/ industry/ filed training out of which three years as senior lecturer or equivalent.
    • Age: Not exceeding 50 years as on 01.01.2007

The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2007, throughout the country from 7th July, 2007 (Saturday). Admission Certificates to all eligible candidates have been issued. Letters of rejection citing the ground for rejection have also been sent to the rest of the candidates. If any applicant has not received any of the above communications, he/she may contact UPSC Facilitation Counter on Telephone Nos. 011-23381125, 011-23385271 and 011-23098543 on working days. The candidates can also send fax messages on Telephone No. 011-23387310 or 011-23385345. Detailed venue information in respect of admitted candidates is also available at the Union Public Service Commission official website www.upsc.gov.in
Mobile Phones Banned.
  • Mobile Phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban form future examination.
  • Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/ pagers to the venue of the examination, as arragements for safekeeping cannot be assured.

    • Possession of Government of India, Ministry of Surface Transport Certificate of competency as 1st Class Engineer of Motorship or other similar certificate recognized by the Government, OR
    • Possesses final examination certificate of the college of marine engineering under the department of surface transport, government of India, OR
    • Have pased section'A' & 'B' of Institute of Engineers (India) Examination in any of disciplines listed above at sr. no. (1)
