Applications are invited form male Indian candidates belonging to Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Delhi states for the post of Cosntable (GD) in BSF for the year 2007 on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/- plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Govt. Employees from time to time.

State wise Vacancies released/ notified, which may vary/ alter on administrative reasons, are as under:-

• Uttar Pradesh: 564 (UR-288/ SC-118/ST-06/OBC-152)
• Naxalite area of UP State i.e. Sonebhadra, Mirzapur and Chandauli Districs: 30 (UR-15/SC-07/OBC-08)
• Uttaranchal: 29 (UR-19/ SC-05/ST-01/ OBC-04)
• Delhi: 47 (UR-23/ SC-07/ ST-04/ OBC-13)
• Eligibility:
• Age: 18-23 years as on 1st August 2007. Age limit relaxable as per govt. rules
• Education: minimum Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.
• Last Date: 30.04.2007
