Applications are invited form the male candidates belonging to Gujarat and Maharshtra States for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590 plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Govt.

• Reserve for border Distt of Kuchch, Patan and Banaskantha: 32 Posts (UR 16/ SC 02/ ST 05/ OBC 09)
• State: Maharshtra:
• Open for all Distts of State: 329 Posts (UR 177/ SC 33/ ST 30/ OBC 89)
• Reserve for Naxalite/ Militancy effected distts (Garhchiroli/ Godia/ Chandrapur/ Bhandra): 30 Posts (UR 16/ SC 03/ ST 03/ OBC 08)

• Age: Between 18-23 years as on 01.08.2007 , relaxable as per Govt. rules.
• Education: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent.
• Last Date: 05.09.2007
