Allahabad Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens for the posts in Clerical Cadre (Clerk cum Cashier) as follows:

• Last Date for receipt of applications: 18.09.2007 (01.10.2007 for candidates from far-flung areas)
• Date of Written Test: 09.12.2007

• Clerk cum Cashier: 600 Posts
• Scale of Pay: Rs. 4410-Rs 13210/- (DA, HRA, CCA etc. will be paid as per Bank's rules in force form time to time depending upon place of posting. Medical, LFC, Pension, PF, Gratuity etc will be admissible as per Bank's rules)
• Age: 18-28 years as on 01.07.2007
• Minimum Educational qualification as on 01.07.2007
• For SC/ST/PC/EXSM/DXS/DISXS candidates: Pass with minimum 55% marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary examination/ 10+2 of 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent or degree in any discipline or its equivalent.
• For OBC/ General Candidates: Pass with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary examination/ 10+2 of 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent or degree in any discipline or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of computers:
  
• Essential for all category of candidates.
• Proficiency in Windows/ MS Office
• Certificate/ Diploma in computer operations form NIIT, SSI, Aptech, MICE, SQC, CMC etc or O/A/B/C level certificate of DOEACC or BCA/ Computer science as one of the subjects covering MS-Word, Excel, Access etc. in Degree level.
