Kolkata Port Trust intends to fill up 8 posts of Commander (SC-I, OBC- 2) in the scale of pay of Rs. 17500-400-22300/- under Marine Department by Direct Recruitment:

• Educational & Other Qualification:- Master’s (Foreign Going) Certificate or Service Certificate as Master (Foreign Going) from Indian Navy or Dredge Master’s Grade – I Certificate.

• Age as on April 2007: - Not exceeding 40 years (45 years for Ex. Naval Officer).

• Pay & Allowance:- The incumbent in the scale of pay of Rs. 17500-400-22300/- will get his emoluments approximately Rs. 36,740/- per month (including HRA, CCA etc.) at the starting. Besides, the incumbent will also be entitled to LTC, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, Non-contributory P.F. and Medical coverage for Self and dependant family members.
