National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) invites applications from eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview for the following project vacancies under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, being implemented by the Group Arithmetic, Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM), NCERT. Initially, the appointments will be made for a period of ten months.

- Senior Consultant:
- Pay: Rs. 30000/- Consolidated per month
- Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Mathematics/ Education with minimum 55% marks at the Post-Graduate level
- Desirable:
- Experience of having worked in the capacity of a Reader.
- Two to five years experience of working with children at the primary/ elementary level in the area of mathematics,
- Flair for doing research, experimentation and teacher training and
- Experience of developing some innovative teaching-learning materials.
- Consultant
- Pay: Rs. 25000/- Consolidated per month
- Qualification:
- MA/ M.Ed./ MA in Education with minimum 55% marks at the Post-Graduate level.
- Desirable:
- M.Phil/ Ph.D. with bee preferred
- Minimum two years experience of working with children at the elementary level and
- Flair for doing research and training.
- Teacher Fellows:
- Pay: Rs. 12000/- Consolidated per month
- Qualification:
- B.Sc./ B.Ed./ B.El.Ed./ B.A. B.Ed. with Mathematics as one of the leading subjects with at least 55% marks
- Desirable:
- M.Ed./ MA or M.Sc. (Maths) nd
- Two to three years experience of teaching children at the elementary level OR doing innovative work OR developing Teachers Learning Material with children.
- Model Maker-cum-Draftsman:
- Pay: Rs. 10000/- Consolidated per month
- Qualification:
- Minimum Class 10th from a recognized Board/ University
- Training in a craft/ skill and
- Minimum five to six years experience of developing pedagogic material for children.
- Desirable:
- Evidence of some creative/ innovative work done in making learning material for children.
