Combined Matric Level Examination, 2008 F.No. 3/3/2007-P&P-I, Staff Selection Commission will hold on Sunday, the 30.03.08, Combined Matric Level (Preliminary) Examination, 2008 all over the country for selecting candidates for the Main Examination to be held subsequently, for the post of Stenographer Grade 'C', Stenographer Grade 'D' and Lower Division Clerks. The Combined Matric Level (Main) Examination, 2008 will tentatively be held on 27-28the September 2008.
  • Number of Vacancies: Firm number of vacancies for different categories of posts will be determined in due course.
  • Age Limit: 18-27 years (as on 01.08.08) Usual age-relaxation will be admissible to SC, ST, OBC, EXS, etc. as per Government Orders in force.
  • Education Qualification: As on 01.08.08
    • Must have passed matriculation or equivalent or higher examination as on 01.08.08
  • Fee: Rs. 100/- only. No fee for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen.
  • Closing date: The last date for receipt of application in the concerned Regional Office of the Commission will be 14.12.07 (5pm) and 24.12.07 (5 pm) for candidates from far-flung areas.
