Inland Waterways Authority of India invites application from Indian Nationals for the following positions on contract basis initially for a period of 01 (one) year likely to be extended on performance and need basis:
  • Principal at National Navigation Institute (NINI), Patna: 01 Post
    • Consolidated salary p.m.: Rs. 60,000/-
    • Desirable qualification/ experience: Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering plus minimum 20 years experience in the relevant field, out of which at least 5 years as a faculty in DG Shipping approved institute. Desirable: Experience in IWT/Port/ Marine Sector
  • Senior Faculty at NINI, Patna: 1 (Deck) + 1 (Mech./Marine)
    • Consolidated salary p.m.: Rs. 45,000/-
    • Desirable qualification/ experience: Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering plus minimum 15 years experience in the relevant field, out of which at least 2 years as a faculty in DG Shipping approved institute. Desirable: Experience in IWT/Port/ Marine Sector
  • Project Engineer (Mech./ Marine) at Head Office, Noida: 03 Posts
    • Consolidated salary p.m.: Rs. 40,000/-
    • Desirable qualification/ experience: Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering plus 5 years of experience in design of ships/dredgers, preparation of specifications, estimates and tender documents and monitoring of vessels construction. Desirable: Experience in IWT/Port/Marine Sector.
  • Business Development Manager (IWT) at Head Office, NOIDA.: 01 Post
    • Consolidated salary p.m.: Rs. 40,000/-
    • Desirable qualification/ experience: MBA with Specialization in Marketing with 05 years work experience in sales / marketing. Desirable: Experience in IWT / Port/Shipping sector.

Applications are invited from unmarried male and female candidates for Short Service Commission in the Naval Architecture Cadre of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July 2009 at Naval Academy (NAVAC), INS Zamorin, Ezhimala, Kerala.
  • Eligibility Conditions:
    • Age: Between 21 to 25 years (Candidates to be born between 02 July 1984 to 01 July 1988; both dates inclusive)
    • Qualification: BE/ B.Tech (or equivalent) from a recognized university/ institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in any on e of the following:

  • ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

    • Educational Qualification:
      • BE/B Tech in Mech/Elect/ Electronics /Electrical /Computer Science/IT with
