Walk-In-Interview for Selection of DNB Trainees

Ispat General Hospital is a premier Hospital of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant. It is a well equipped 685 bedded hospital with a 11 bedded ICU, Burn Centre, MRI Unit, CT Scan, Dialysis Unit, Endocsopy, Nuclear Medicine Unit, Auto Analyser, Molecular Biology Lab. and a good Library. It is recognized for training of Interns and House Surgeons and accredited by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi for imparting DNB training in 10 disciplines. Rourkela is situated at the Mumbai-Kolkata main line and is well connected by rails and roads.

An interview will be held for selection of DNB Trainees in the following disciplines:
  • General Medicine
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Pathology
  • Respiratory Medicine
  • Orthopedics
  • Pediatrics
  • maternal and Child Health
  • Family Medicine
The eligible candidates (MBBS with CET passed/ PG diploma in the concerned discipline only) are requested to attend the interview along with original and photocopies of the relevant certificates, two passport size photographs and NOC where applicable. The candidates are advised to verify their eligibility from the website of NBE. They may be required to stay two days, if required.
The DNB Trainees will be paid the stipend as under per month.
  • 1st Year Rs. 14325.00
  • 2nd Year Rs. 14752.00
  • 3rd Year Rs. 15200.00
  • They have to pay the annual fee for Rs. 35000.00 Only.
Hostel type of accommodation will be provided to the DNB Trainees if available.
