Special recruitment of Junior Lecturers in different disciplines in Class-II of O.E.S. (Higher Secondary Branch) for S.C. & S.T. candidates.
Applications in the prescribed form are invited from Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe candidates only for admission to a Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Lecturers under Higher Education Department in the following disciplines in Class-II of Orissa Education Service (Higher Secondary Branch):
  • Junior Lecturers in the following disciplines:
    • Botany –11(3-W)
    • Chemistry – 12(4-W)
    • Mathematics-11(3-W)
    • Physics – 16(4-W)
  • Pay: Rs.6,500-200-10,500/- with usual allowances sanctioned by Government of Orissa from time to time.
  • EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 50 percent of marks or its equivalent grade and 2nd class in the Bachelor Degree and a consistently good academic record.
  • AGE LIMITS : Over 21 years and under 33 years as on 1st January, 2007. i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1974 and not later than 1st January, 1986. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe, Women and eligible Ex-servicemen and by 10 years for P.H. candidates

  • Essential experience for faculty positions:
    • Lecturer:
      • Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.
      • Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor.
    • Lecture for the Department of Biophysics: The candidates should possess M.D. (Bio-Physics) / M.Sc. (Bio-Physics and 3 years teaching experience in recognized medical College)
    • Senior Resident: P.G. degree in respective subject/ specialty.
  • Pay Scale:
    • Lecturer: Rs. 8550-275-14600 (Total Emoluments Rs. 24905.00)
    • Senior Resident: As per AIIMS (Total Emoluments Rs. 20318.00)
  • Maximum age limit (as on 01-07-07) Lecturer/ Sr. Resident: 35 years.
General Conditions:
  1. Selected candidates will have to join immediately.
  2. Persons may also be considered for contractual appointment in case selection committee so recommends.
  3. The number of posts indicated above are provisional and subject to change without prior notice.
  4. Number of vacancies will be filled as per the availability of candidates of different categories in unspecified vacancies of different specialities/ departments.
